Job Description
VP of Communications - Investment Management Firm
As VP of Communications, you will support the creation and implementation of all external communications across the firm, including marketing materials, investor relations letters, press releases, and investment updates. Your efforts will drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and edit a variety of external communications including web copy, infographics, social media posts, articles, emails, sales collateral, presentations, and video storyboards.
- Leverage digital fluency to ensure content is optimized for search, engagement and offers a positive user experience.
- Work closely with investment team to prepare communication materials including investor letters, performance updates and market commentary.
- Measure, track, and analyze all external communications to determine effectiveness.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of marketing experience, financial services industry experience is strongly preferred
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience developing both short-form and long-form marketing copy.
- Demonstrated success in project management.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across multiple projects, under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and quality is critical.
- Self-motivated, high-energy, team-oriented problem solver.
- Client service oriented with a positive attitude with a high degree of professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledgeable in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – SalesForce preferred.
