VP, Asset Management
The Vice President, Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the performance of a commercial real estate portfolio. This role serves as the primary representative to tenants and operators, develops asset strategies to enhance portfolio value, and provides leadership to team members.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, operators, and related stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits to assess property conditions, market trends, and tenant operations
- Collaborate with property management teams to administer leases and develop property improvement plans
- Develop credit monitoring processes and reports
- Engage brokers and consultants to understand market activity and support leasing strategies
- Manage leasing processes, including negotiating terms and coordinating with legal teams
- Prepare financial analyses to support leasing and disposition decisions
- Monitor compliance with lease terms and other portfolio obligations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
- Perform other duties to enhance portfolio value and mitigate risk
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Advanced Degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare real estate asset management
- Strong understanding of real estate leasing and operations
- Experience with Argus and Yardi is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
