Structural Engineer - Luxury High-Rise
A leading NYC real estate developer is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support the design and delivery of high-rise residential and mixed-use developments. This role focuses on structural analysis, design coordination, and construction support for complex urban projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design for high-rise residential and mixed-use developments.
- Perform structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and composite systems.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction.
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code and applicable structural design standards.
- Participate in BIM coordination, site visits, value engineering, and construction administration.
- Support foundation design coordination and resolve field issues.
Qualifications::
- 15+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with high-rise building design and construction.
- Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar structural analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of concrete and steel structural systems, NYC Building Code, and BIM coordination.
- Excellent project management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- PE license is a plus
