Senior Property Accountant - Commercial Real Estate
Rapidly growing Real Estate Investment firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support its commercial real estate portfolio. This role oversees full-cycle property accounting, financial reporting, and close collaboration with property management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle AP/AR functions in Yardi (invoice processing, cash receipts, rent adjustments)
- Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries (accruals, taxes, insurance, mortgage)
- Support CAM reconciliations and tenant billing
- Assist with audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting
- Partner with property managers and leadership on financial analysis
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate property accounting.
- Proficiency in Yardi
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
