Senior Development Manager
A leading NYC real estate developer is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to oversee luxury residential and mixed-use developments from acquisition through project completion. This is a hands-on leadership role managing the full development lifecycle, including underwriting, design, permitting, construction, and sales coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple ground-up residential and mixed-use developments.
- Lead projects from acquisition and due diligence through completion.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, financial modeling, and project reporting.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
- Manage zoning, DOB approvals, permitting, and construction progress.
- Support acquisition underwriting, feasibility analysis, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on project launches and pricing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of NYC real estate development experience.
- Experience with multifamily, condominium, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of NYC zoning, DOB approvals, construction management, and development finance.
- Advanced Excel financial modeling skills with excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Argus, or Yardi is preferred
