Job Description

Senior Accountant

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts and cash accounting, including processing accounts receivable, performing bank reconciliations, preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger, and producing financial reports.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor and track all project-related revenue related to closing fees and revenue projections
  • Monitor collections of all fees, including Asset Management and Deferred fees
  • Process all previous day wire activity in the accounting system;
  • Approve wires/transfers;
  • Process accounts receivable;
  • Monitor bank accounts on a daily basis;
  • Perform Bank Reconciliations on a monthly basis.;
  • Prepare and process various journal entries in the general ledger;
  • Prepare support needed for interim audit, year-end audit, and tax filings;
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports;
  • Review fixed assets on a monthly basis for any assets that need to be disposed of
  • Prepare support needed for the personal property audits
  • Responsible for maintaining all lease liability schedules
  • Process accounts payables on a weekly basis
  • Review and process employee expense reimbursements on a monthly basis
  • Manage relationships with external parties


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains, QuickBooks, and Sage Intacct
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Ablity to work well in a team environment as well as independently
