Senior Accountant - Family Office

The Senior Accountant will work on project-based engagements across multiple clients and industries.

Responsibilities

• Work with the account manager and clients to complete financial analyses and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Support clients through month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Prepare financial reports following GAAP and other applicable standards.
• Ensure compliance standards are being met and participate in internal and external audits.
• Produce forecasting reports for client leadership.
• Train client staff in financial controls, tools, and reporting standards.
• Support multiple client engagements simultaneously while building client relationships and producing high-quality deliverables on a timely basis.
• Research, design, and implement financial systems to meet compliance standards, create efficiencies, and meet client strategy financial goals.
• Conduct vendor search and implementation based on the needs of the client.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the internal team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or another closely related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience within a client service environment; family office experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Thompson Reuters, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
