Job Description
Our client, a commercial real estate owner, operator and developer is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. This position is located in Peoria, AZ.

- Review and post cash receipts and tenant adjustments
- Review and post rent rolls
- General Ledger month-end review and preparation of journal entries
- Accounts receivables reconciliations
- Month-end review and accruals posting
- Review and prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports
- Assist property management when need (i.e., printing reports, reconciliation of tenant ledgers, sales of properties, etc.)
- Prepare sales tax returns
- Prepare management fees
- Prepare wire transfers
- Assist with annual budget process
- Assist with CAM reconciliations
- Assist with year-end 1099s
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in commercial or medical
- Experience with Timberline, MRI, Yardi and QuickBooks a plus
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Attention to detail and record keeping
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
