Job Description

Our client, a commercial real estate owner, operator and developer is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. This position is located in Peoria, AZ.

Responsibilities 
  • Review and post cash receipts and tenant adjustments
  • Review and post rent rolls
  • General Ledger month-end review and preparation of journal entries
  • Accounts receivables reconciliations
  • Month-end review and accruals posting
  • Review and prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports
  • Assist property management when need (i.e., printing reports, reconciliation of tenant ledgers, sales of properties, etc.)
  • Prepare sales tax returns
  • Prepare management fees
  • Prepare wire transfers
  • Assist with annual budget process
  • Assist with CAM reconciliations
  • Assist with year-end 1099s
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in commercial or medical
  • Experience with Timberline, MRI, Yardi and QuickBooks a plus
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and record keeping
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
