Property Accountant
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Yardi to manage and maintain property financial records.
  • Input and manage financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records for retail commercial properties.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly operating reports to provide insights into property performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency
  • Manage AR and AP processes.
  • Notify important matters to bring awareness to team members of AR/AP issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
  • Generate and analyze monthly financial reports.
  • Provide insights into financial trends and discrepancies.
  • Monitor expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with property managers to streamline the onboarding process for new tenants, ensuring accurate lease and financial data integration.
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, fostering open communication and contributing to the overall success of the accounting department.
  • Address financial queries and provide necessary support for property managers and asset managers.
  • Facilitate seamless communication regarding financial matters.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of accounting principles and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail commercial real estate accounting
  • Expertise in using Yardi software for property management and accounting functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Bilingual in Mandarin
