Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Yardi to manage and maintain property financial records.
- Input and manage financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records for retail commercial properties.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and analyze monthly operating reports to provide insights into property performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency
- Manage AR and AP processes.
- Notify important matters to bring awareness to team members of AR/AP issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports.
- Provide insights into financial trends and discrepancies.
- Monitor expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with property managers to streamline the onboarding process for new tenants, ensuring accurate lease and financial data integration.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, fostering open communication and contributing to the overall success of the accounting department.
- Address financial queries and provide necessary support for property managers and asset managers.
- Facilitate seamless communication regarding financial matters.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues promptly.
- Maintain a clear understanding of accounting principles and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in retail commercial real estate accounting
- Expertise in using Yardi software for property management and accounting functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual in Mandarin
