Project Manager – Commercial Construction


General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in overseeing commercial construction projects from planning through completion. This role will manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability goals are achieved.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, buyout, and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, local officials, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and direct multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule requirements.
  • Ensure all work meets contract requirements and company standards.
  • Lead project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals on time and within budget.
  • Maintain positive relationships with current and past clients and support business development efforts as needed.
  • Review and oversee estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reporting, billing, design coordination, cost reporting, safety compliance, and proposal preparation.
  • Collaborate with field supervision to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Keep clients informed on project progress and key issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Experience using construction management software such as Procore.
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within first year of employment).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
