Project Executive - Commercial Construction


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple commercial construction projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and adhere to schedules and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and other project team members, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across all project phases.
  • Review and approve project budgets, change orders, and expenditures. Ensure projects are completed within the approved budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Oversee the development and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ensure contractual obligations are met and manage risks.
  • Ensure accurate project schedules are developed, updated, and maintained. Allocate resources effectively to ensure projects progress smoothly.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure all projects are executed according to company standards and industry best practices.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management, clients, and stakeholders. Create and present detailed reports on project status, challenges, and resolutions.



Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in managing commercial construction projects over $50 million
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in construction project management software
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, budgets, and scheduling.
  • Ability to identify risks and solve complex problems
