MEP Project Manager


Mechanical Subcontractor is seeking a MEP Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead mechanical construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, engineers, and field teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Monitor project costs, approve invoices, and track financial performance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders.
  • Ensure projects remain profitable while maintaining quality standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance on job sites.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout project phases.
  • Resolve any project-related challenges or conflicts proactively.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years MEP project management experience
  • Strong technical background in mechanical, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
