Leasing Agent
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Real Estate Agent to join our team. The Leasing Real Estate Agent will specialize in assisting clients with renting residential properties and already have a book of business. This role involves marketing properties, coordinating with landlords and tenants, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a strong understanding of the real estate market and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Cold calling and prospecting
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants and schedule property showings.
- Conduct property tours, highlighting features and answering client questions.
- Screen potential tenants, including verifying references, income, and background checks.
- Negotiate lease terms between landlords and tenants, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Prepare and review lease agreements, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with property owners, providing updates on leasing activity and market trends.
- Stay informed about local rental market conditions, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
- Assist with resolving tenant inquiries or issues during the leasing process.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure properties are lease-ready.
Qualifications:
- Valid real estate license.
- Proven experience in real estate, leasing, or sales
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of local real estate laws, leasing regulations, and fair housing standards.
- Proficiency in real estate software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and properties simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital marketing or social media promotion.
