Leasing Specialist
We’re seeking a personable and motivated Leasing Specialist to join our residential property team. This role plays a key part in welcoming new residents, supporting community engagement, and contributing to overall property success. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist prospective residents through the leasing process, from tours to signed agreements
- Conduct property tours; highlight the features and benefits of the community
- Follow up with leads to drive occupancy
- Facilitate smooth move-in experiences for new residents
- Help plan and support resident engagement events and community initiatives
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the property runs efficiently
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of leasing experience
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service or sales experience
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable using leasing software or CRM systems
- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for helping people
