Senior Financial Analyst


High net worth Single Family Office is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join its dynamic team. In this role, you'll work on a unique variety of projects, including supporting the venture investment team and impact/philanthropy team, managing a private portfolio of luxury real estate, and working with world-class external wealth managers, law firms, and tax teams. Recent projects have included: software start-up investments and real estate acquisitions; sponsoring a professional sports team; launching a national fundraising and policy initiative in the social impact space; and partnering with the wealth management team to navigate the changing macroeconomic environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Support top-level strategic decision-making via modeling and reporting.
  • Provide consistent, timely, and highly accurate portfolio-wide views designed to drive insight and action.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for long-term planning.
  • Partner with department heads to gather input, challenge assumptions, and support cost control initiatives.
  • Analyze financial results to provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting packages and variance analysis.
  • Support scenario planning, cash flow forecasting, and investment analysis.
  • Contribute to the annual budget and periodic reforecasting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improving financial systems, tools, and reporting processes.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent training
  • 5–7 years of relevant FP&A experience
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence across departments
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative and deadline-driven setting.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
