Job Description

Vertically integrated real estate investment firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role partners closely with ownership, architects, engineers, and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and to quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in civil engineering, hands-on field experience as a superintendent, and the ability to manage complex construction operations end-to-end.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal agencies
  • Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
  • Review contracts, change orders, pay applications, and cost reports
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA requirements, and company safety protocols
  • Identify project risks and proactively resolve constructability, schedule, or cost issues
  • Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
  • Maintain clear communication with ownership and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable, accredited institution
  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
  • Active General Contractor (GC) license
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and project stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
