 FAMILY OFFICE ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of net worth statements
  • Preparation of personal financial statements
  • Maintain daily cash activity
  • Assist with maintaining the master file for the artwork
  • Maintaining a schedule of construction costs
  • Preparing checks for outstanding invoices
  • Wire transfers and check requests
  • Functioning as the liaison to the outside vendors
  • Interacting with the property managers regarding landscaping, utilities, and the construction
  • Updating the insurance agent on purchases and sales of artwork
  • Maintaining records and reporting on all capital projects
  • Assist with travel arrangements and other personal issues

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of accounting experience from a family office
  • Must be highly computer savvy with Excel, Word and QuickBooks
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a positive outlook
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task
  • Prefer someone who has worked with property managers
  • Experience preparing net worth financial statements
  • Willing to assist with personal issues as well as financial issues.
  • Willing to come to the office 4 days a week
