Controller

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Oversee payroll, budgeting, and expense tracking
• Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and annual reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records across multiple entities
• Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization
• Manage vendor relationships and office supplies
• Coordinate basic IT support needs
• Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
• Provide administrative support to leadership as needed
• Act as the point of contact for building operations and maintenance coordination
• Liaise with property management partners and vendors
• Track building-related expenses, service contracts, and communications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting and office management experience; real estate experience a plus
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and professional
• Ability to work full-time on-site
