Job Description
Construction Project Manager
The Project Manager will oversee and lead various construction projects simultaneously from start through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning sessions and meet with architects or engineers to determine project specifications
- Establish and maintain project schedule by task and manage implementation
- Meet project schedule, deadlines, and project budgets
- Review plans and specifications for submittals and scope of work
- Initiate and lead weekly project reviews with field supervisors and install manager
- Create and maintain construction billing schedule by reviewing monthly percent complete for monthly billings
- Provide monthly cost to complete to the Accounting department
- Review and understand project contracts with the contractor/owner and subcontractors
- Initiate and lead turnover from estimating, turnover to service, close out process, and postmortem meetings
- Keep management informed on progress of projects and budget
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- PMP or equivalent is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong leadership skills
