Construction Project Manager


The Project Manager will oversee and lead various construction projects simultaneously from start through completion.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead project planning sessions and meet with architects or engineers to determine project specifications
  • Establish and maintain project schedule by task and manage implementation
  • Meet project schedule, deadlines, and project budgets
  • Review plans and specifications for submittals and scope of work
  • Initiate and lead weekly project reviews with field supervisors and install manager
  • Create and maintain construction billing schedule by reviewing monthly percent complete for monthly billings
  • Provide monthly cost to complete to the Accounting department
  • Review and understand project contracts with the contractor/owner and subcontractors
  • Initiate and lead turnover from estimating, turnover to service, close out process, and postmortem meetings
  • Keep management informed on progress of projects and budget


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • PMP or equivalent is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with strong leadership skills
