Chief Executive Officer

Our client, a high-impact philanthropic platform focused on advancing opportunity, equity, and innovation, is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the next chapter of growth. With multiple active nonprofit initiatives and plans to launch a new creative-focused venture, the organization operates at the intersection of education, entrepreneurship, and cultural innovation.

This role is ideal for a leader with both nonprofit and entrepreneurial experience—someone who thrives in complex, high-visibility environments and can unify, scale, and sustain a growing portfolio of mission-driven initiatives. The CEO will work closely with a highly engaged board, develop long-term strategy, oversee a high-performing executive team, and serve as the organization's primary external voice and relationship-builder.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic direction, organizational integration, and program execution across multiple initiatives
• Oversee fundraising strategy and build long-term relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
• Serve as the public-facing representative and ambassador of the platform, managing high-profile partnerships
• Recruit and lead a senior management team across development, finance, operations, and communications
• Ensure operational excellence, fiscal responsibility, and compliance with nonprofit governance
• Develop new initiatives in alignment with the organization’s mission and long-term growth strategy

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of senior leadership experience, including 5+ years as CEO, Executive Director, Managing Partner, or equivalent
• Proven track record scaling philanthropic or mission-driven organizations with multi-program portfolios
• Strong fundraising background, ideally with experience securing multi-year and unrestricted gifts from high-net-worth individuals and institutional donors
• Experience operating within high-profile ecosystems, such as celebrity-founded initiatives, family foundations, or venture philanthropy platforms
• Deep understanding of nonprofit financial management, governance, and stakeholder engagement
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with comfort in high-visibility environments
• Passion for driving systemic change through education, entrepreneurship, and creativity
