Director / Partner - Audit & Assurance
A growing, private equity-backed CPA firm specializing in HOA and CIRA accounting and audit services is seeking a Director / Partner to lead its entire audit function. This is a senior leadership opportunity with responsibility for audit quality, engagement execution, team development, and scaling the practice as the firm grows. The role offers the opportunity to lead an entire audit practice, join the senior leadership team, and participate in equity upside within a growing, PE-backed organization
Responsibilities:
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, review, and issuance.
- Provide technical leadership on complex accounting and auditing matters.
- Oversee and develop Audit Managers and the broader audit team.
- Manage staffing, workflow, quality, and timely delivery across a high-volume engagement portfolio.
- Establish scalable processes and best practices to support continued growth.
- Partner with firm leadership on the strategic development of the audit practice.
Qualifications:
- CPA required.
- Significant public accounting audit experience, ideally at the Senior Manager, Director, or Partner level.
- Proven experience leading complete engagements and managing audit teams.
- Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge.
- Ability to assume final sign-off responsibility.
- HOA/CIRA experience is highly desirable but not required.
- Candidates from other high-volume public accounting environments will be considered.
