Asset Manager


The Asset Manager is responsible for driving the financial and operational performance of assigned properties across the portfolio. This role ensures assets meet or exceed pro forma expectations through disciplined budgeting, strategic oversight, and proactive value creation.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets; protect NOI and return targets
  • Perform monthly/quarterly variance analysis and implement corrective strategies
  • Conduct rental/sales comps and market research to inform pricing and positioning
  • Oversee CapEx and renovation projects from underwriting through execution
  • Deliver portfolio reporting, dashboards, and performance insights to ownership
  • Identify revenue growth, expense efficiencies, refinancing, and disposition opportunities


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in asset management, acquisitions, investment analysis, or commercial real estate finance
  • Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills (Excel proficiency required)
  • Experience managing operating budgets, variance reporting, and NOI optimization
  • Knowledge of rental comps, sales comps, and market analytics tools
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing CapEx or value-add renovation projects
  • Ability to interpret leases, operating agreements, and debt documents
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience working with property management teams and third-party operators
  • ARGUS proficiency preferred
  • Exposure to institutional or family office ownership structures preferred
