ACCOUNTING MANAGER


ACCOUNTING/CONSULTING FIRM



Responsibilities:


  • Supervise bookkeepers and other staff
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Reconcile investment statements to clients records
  • Cash flow analysis and forecasting
  • Oversee the closing of the books for funds and closely held entities
  • Assist with the information for tax return preparation
  • Interact with sophisticated clientele both domestic and international


Qualifications:


  • 8 plus years of public accounting experience or a combination of public and private accounting experience
  • CPA is preferred however it is not required
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Quickbooks
  • It is essential that this person have experience closing the books for clients
  • Strong financial statement preparation and management reporting
  • Must have strong supervisory experience
  • Hands on and entrepreneurial
  • Strong relationship management experience
  • Prefer exposure to financial services ,real estate and service companies
