Family Office & Accounting Manager


We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Family Office & Accounting Manager to oversee accounting and financial operations across a diverse portfolio, with a strong emphasis on real estate investments and project-based accounting. This hands-on role will support high-net-worth individuals and manage multiple entities while partnering with internal teams, vendors, and external advisors.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
  • Manage AP/AR processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactions
  • Maintain accounting records for multiple entities, real estate holdings, and investments
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, expenses, and cash flow across active developments and initiatives
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial alignment and reporting accuracy
  • Support family office financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and expense tracking for high-net-worth individuals
  • Coordinate with external accountants, vendors, advisors, and contractors
  • Supervise AP/AR staff and help improve accounting processes and controls
  • Prepare financial analyses and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a family office, real estate, or multi-entity environment
  • Strong real estate and project accounting experience
  • Experience managing AP/AR functions and financial operations
  • Familiarity supporting high-net-worth individuals and complex entity structures
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills preferred
