Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting workpapers for monthly closing
- Research budget variances
- Manage and conduct receivable activities
- Manage loan draws and debt payments
- Prepare lender compliance certification packages
- Prepare and review annual CAM reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries
- Property management expense allocations
- Reconcile escrows and reserves
- Prepare daily cash reconciliations
- Provide assistance with annual audits
- Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets
- Prepare periodic financial packages, including analyses and supporting schedules of balance sheet and P&L statement accounts
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of property accounting experience, commercial preferred
- Public accounting audit experience a plus
- CPA a plus
- Proficiency in Yardi preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
