Property Manager - Industrial
Summary:
Our client is a full-service industrial owner and investor and is seeking a Property Manager to assist with a portfolio of multi-family, office, and industrial projects. Ideal candidates will have experience overseeing industrial or commercial properties with a focus on day-to-day operations of the properties and working closely with tenants.
Responsibilities:

Conduct regular property inspections to prevent or identify problems

Schedule building maintenance and repairs for all properties
-
Manage tenant relations, including move in and move out process and responding to tenants calls within a timely manner

Oversee small capital related projects
-
Abstracting, interpreting and administering lease requirements.

Develop and prepare annual operating budgets for all buildings within the portfolio.

Create budgets for any new in house projects

Monitor performance quality levels of all service vendors and regional managers.

Work with regional teams to assist with bidding for service contracts including but not limited to landscaping, irrigation, roofing inspection, contractors, etc.

Manage in house labor team and property management staff
Qualifications:
-
Strong tenant relations and customer service skills
-
Experience with maintenance and capital improvement preferred

Knowledge of property management softwares (Yardi, MRI, RentManager)

Forecasting and budgeting for property expenses
-
Hands on approach
-
3 - 5 years of commercial or industrial property management preferred

Willingness for local travel to different properties within New Jersey
