Controller - Real Estate

Privately-held owner, operator and developer with a portfolio of luxury residential & mixed-use projects is seeking a Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Develop standards for finance operations, managing regulatory compliance, and creating metrics to understand cross-property performance.
• Optimize systems for processing invoices, reconciling general ledger accounts, and monitoring budgets and cashflow.
• Administer loan agreements, submit pay applications, and maintain compliance with lenders.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax reporting.
• Supervise and train staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA license is required
• 3+ years real estate accounting experience
• QuickBooks experience is preferred
